Christmas & New Year Stays
It’s never too early to think about the most wonderful time of the year in Somerset. Pack up your finery, walking boots, and those you hold dear for four-nights of memorable festivities this Christmas and New Year.
Hotel Spa
Relax and unwind in the spa with its indoor-outdoor pool, steam room, sauna, salt infusion chamber and treatment rooms. Reconnect in the Medieval Herb garden, sit for a manicure, get some added stress relief through couples’ mud therapy, or enjoy a proper washdown in the hammam. If you are looking for a bit more action, take a stretch in the Gym while watching the gardeners tending to vegetables in the kitchen garden or join one of our many yoga and wellbeing classes. Newt members can take advantage of our spa day offers, whilst hotel residents can also enjoy the pool at the Farmyard during their stay.
The Farmyard
Just beyond the cyder orchards and Four Seasons Garden, half a mile from Hadspen as the crow flies, this former dairy farm is a place to spread out and lean back, cheek-to-rosy-cheek with grazing livestock and sheltering oaks. Original farm buildings, with a delightfully golden patina, are home to rooms, a pool, bar, snug and all-day kitchen. Complimentary drinks are available at the Garner Bar for hotel residents, while bikes and buggies provide ample opportunity for pootling over to the gardens, the spa at Hadspen with its treatment rooms and The Botanical Rooms restaurant in less than 10 minutes via the picturesque orchards.
Farmyard Kitchen
Experience creative dishes worth sharing. Located in an old threshing barn, the beating heart of a repurposed dairy farm serving hearty, cheering fare using ingredients grown, foraged and reared on the estate. Seasonal elements, wood-fired then dished-up in the open kitchen in front of your table.
Lunch and dinner are available to non-residents by advance booking only. Please arrive at least 15 minutes prior to your booking time via the main entrance, off the A359 and park in the hotel car park. You will be able to buggy over to the Farmyard.
The Botanical Rooms
Enjoy elegant and seasonal dining, inspired by and gathered from your surroundings. We invite you to feast on estate vegetables, the choicest cuts from the salt room and dayboat fish from the Dorset coast. We gladly accept non-residents and non-members for lunch and dinner with a pre-booking.
